Christian Blackburn
Music Minister
Originally from Kansas, Christian's love for music began at an early age and eventually led him to North Carolina, where he earned his Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. As a classically trained baritone, he has enjoyed performing in operas, concerts, and recitals throughout his career, while also sharing his love of music through teaching and community engagement.
Christian and his wife, Talia, are proud parents of two young daughters, Lilla and Ruby, who keep life joyful, busy, and full of adventure. As a family, they enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring the Greensboro area, and being involved in their local community.
Outside of music, Christian works full time in finance as well as owning a yoga studio in Greensboro with his wife. He very much looks forward to being a part of the rich history of Pleasant Garden Methodist church.
