Community Leadership

Leadership in our church is largely provided by dedicated members who serve on committees commissioned to lead the congregation in ministry and administrative areas. A copy of our organizational structure can be found here:

Meet The Team

Kirk LeJeune Headshot_edited.jpg

Kirk LeJeune

Senior Pastor

Wanna hear a great joke? Just ask Kirk - he's full of 'em! Kirk spent the first 25 years of his career in Youth Ministry, and he brings a similar creative energy to the pulpit every Sunday as pastor. Hailing from Louisiana, Kirk is a connoisseur of Cajun food, and loves to share fishing stories. He is a graduate of Duke Divinity School, and has primarily served pastorates in North Carolina. Kirk and his wife Anna live in High Point, NC, and have loved making Pleasant Garden Methodist their home. They have three grown sons and one granddaughter. On his days off, you'll find Kirk in his wood shop, fishing in the Appalachians, or spending time (goofing off) with his friends and family.

Laurie Taylor

Office Administrator

& Youth Leader

A former local missionary in Pocket 22, Laurie's heart resides in  service-based ministry. She holds a degree in Christian Studies and Youth Ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. When she's not keeping the logistics running smoothly or planning curriculum, Laurie is chasing after her three young kids, hiking with her husband Josh, or creating art with watercolors & ink.

Valerie Lepko

Music Minister

Valerie will put some pep in your step every time you see her! She is the heartbeat of our music ministry, and has a knack for bringing joy and encouragement to everyone she meets. Don't let her sunny disposition fool you: Valerie has an extensive background in vocal performance, teaching, and leading worship in a variety of contexts.

When Valarie isn't working with our choir and praise team or planning worship events, she can be found hanging out with her husband Ben, and their dog.
